Kipibo Refund Policy

In short

Islands 1–2 are free — try the game before you buy. If the full version is not right for you, we refund you within 14 days of purchase if no more than one full-version island has been completed. If the game does not work, we refund you at any time.

The statutory right of withdrawal and consent at checkout

By law, a buyer of digital content may withdraw from the purchase within 14 days. This right is lost when access begins immediately with your express consent and you acknowledge this. When you pay for the Kipibo full version, you give this consent: the islands unlock right away.

So refunds follow our voluntary policy on the terms below. It does not limit the mandatory consumer rights that the law of your country gives you.

When we refund

Within 14 days of purchase — in full, if no more than one full-version island (islands 3–7) has been completed. We check this using the progress the tablet sends to the parent area.

At any time — if the game does not work on your device and we could not fix it within a reasonable time; if you were charged twice by mistake; if the purchase has not been used; or if we announced a release date for an early-access island on the website and it was not released by that date.

How to request a refund

Write to [email protected] with the order number from your Paddle receipt and a short reason. We reply within 5 business days. Refunds are processed by Paddle, the merchant of record; the money goes back the way you paid, usually within 5–10 business days. You can also contact Paddle directly through paddle.net.

What happens after a refund

Access to the full-version islands closes: they “fall asleep” again. Islands 1–2 stay free and the child’s progress is kept — if you buy the full version again, it comes back.

If you contact your bank

Please write to us first: we almost always resolve things faster than a bank. If a payment is disputed through a bank, access to the full version is paused until the dispute is settled.
